The forest animals from Trauffer are all handcrafted in Switzerland and painted in water colours to allow the natural grain of the timber to shine through. Made from FSC sustainable linden, or basswood, they are heirloom quality toys that represent value for money. One of many in the range to collect, the Hedgehog is actually tactile and friendly, nothing at all like the painted prickly looking quills on his back!
Trauffer wooden animals have been handcrafted for over 80 years. They are designed and hand made in Switzerland from 100% FSC certified Swiss wood. Only child safe natural colours and water-based paints are used. Trauffer are dedicated to developing environmentally friendly and sustainable toys.
